RANGERS have been, and will be again soon, involved in so many legal cases over the years and the board could do without adding another one to that list.

There is so much happening off the park right now so we don’t want to see the situation with Mark Warburton, David Weir and Frank McParland going on and on.

It was the three of them that went to Rangers and said that they wanted to get out of their contracts. They sent their agent to do it, so he was acting on their behalf and doing their work for them.

Did they jump before they were pushed? We don’t know.

Look at the situation with Lee Clark at Kilmarnock. He knew Bury were after him, he went to the club, got his situation sorted and they let him go. That is what happens in football.

The agent was sent in on behalf of Mark, David and Frank and he was talking for them and doing the deal for them. They didn’t want to be here and that is the bottom line.

The deal for the three of them to leave Rangers was agreed and then, all of a sudden, their agent went back to the club and moved the goalposts. They wanted out, Rangers were happy and then they changed their mind.

It doesn’t matter what line of business you are in. If you tell your employer that you want out, they will let you go.

The League Managers Association released a statement on Wednesday and we will have to wait and see how the situation unfolds over the next few days.

But Rangers don’t want to see this situation dragging on and on and on. Rangers need to look to the future, get their new management team in and focus on football again.
