I had to laugh at the comments that some people at Celtic directed towards Rangers and the fans about the celebrations at Parkhead on Sunday when they said that they couldn’t believe how they were jumping about because all we got was a draw.

There weren’t many people that fancied Rangers to get anything out of the game. Almost everyone was saying 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, some even said it would be as many as Celtic wanted it to be.

For Rangers to play the way they did and nullify Celtic took a bit of doing and I think Graeme Murty should take a lot of credit for that. You could see the passion in him when we scored the equaliser and he instilled that into the players.

The performance will certainly give Rangers a lot of confidence going into the next few games in the Premiership and the Scottish Cup semi-final next month. It will also give Celtic a wake-up call as well because they know they can’t afford to be at that level again.

The fifth Old Firm game of the campaign could well be the best game of the season. Before Sunday, everyone was saying that Celtic would run over Rangers. Well, I am not so sure now.

When Rangers scored on Sunday, there was no real emotion from Pedro. He just sat there and took it all in and I am sure he will have learned a lot about the Old Firm environment.

He will know how he wants his team to play in most matches in Scotland, but he will also have an idea how he wants to play against Celtic now.

It was a good performance overall from Rangers and the main thing was that there was a bit of fight about them.

That is something that we have not seen often enough this season but the players rolled their sleeves up and worked their socks off. They stopped Celtic from playing.

People have said that Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair never turned up. They didn’t play well because they weren’t allowed to and that is down to Rangers.
