KENNY MILLER insists his sole focus is winning a new Ibrox deal for next season – and not earning a move into Pedro Caixinha’s backroom team.

The striker is out of contract at the end of the campaign but talks over fresh terms were put on hold while the search continued for Mark Warburton’s replacement.

New Light Blues boss Caixinha is set to appoint another coach to his staff but Miller has played down the prospect of a move into the dugout.

He said: “I don’t know. There has not been any chat with regards to that. It is something that, in the future, will definitely be for me.

“At the moment, my sole focus is on being a player and being a player here next year. I have got two and a half months left on my contract. I want to be here next year and I want to be here as a player.”
