Rangers (4-4-2)

Foderingham. So quiet was the traffic in front of the former England youth goalkeeper that it will be hard for Caixinha to form an opinion on his abilities. One save low down from an Ali Crawford overhead kick. 6

Tavernier. A reported target for Mark Warburton at Nottingham Forest, the Englishman had Caixinha's undivided attention down the right and showed why he is worth keeping. Attacked space and worked 1-2 with Miller before putting first goal on a plate for Hyndman. Silly booking. 7

Hill. The veteran, an unlikely goal machine, ventured up from every throw-in opportunity, told to cause at least nuisance value as he couldn't be offside. Untroubled at the back, he finished from close range to put Rangers on easy street. 7

Wilson. With Rob Kiernan serving the second match of his suspension, Wilson must have been happy faacier Dougie Imrie than one of the more recognised strikers in this Accies squad but the veteran still caused a few issues one-on-one. 6

Wallace. Normal service continued from the Warburton era for the Scotland full back. A couple of barnstorming bursts to the bye-line - one from a nice Toral pass early on - then got on the end of a Waghorn flick to notch the fourth. Booked. 7

Hyndman. Notionally stationed on the right, but allowed to wander into central areas to create mischief. No takers from zipped cross after 12 minutes but nipped in ahead of Waghorn to tuck in the first goal of the Caxinha era. 7

Holt. Given the chance to impress in midfield by Andy Halliday's ongoing hamstring issues, and was a bundle of energy who kept the ball moving. Blotted copybook by blazing over from McKay cut-back. 7

Toral. One of two deep-lying central midfielders in Caixinha's system, the Spaniard split open the Hamilton rearguard with one fine pass. Excellent set piece delivery led to the second. 7

McKay. Classy cutback should have led to a goal from Holt but only in the game in fits and starts. One of Rangers' star turns but early withdrawal suggests Caixinha will expect more from him. 6

Waghorn. Nice early spin and shot which was touched past by Woods. Earned and finished from the spot for the killer third goal, then nice flick to play in Wallace for the fourth. Has five goals in seven, including three penalties. 7

Miller. Likely to get his wish to stay on next year in a playing capacity. Perhaps quieter than usual yesterday but still involved in a couple of goals. Tame left foot shot saved by Woods with his only real sight of goal and withdrawn before the end. 7

Subs:

Garner (for McKay 65). Subject of pre-match intrigue for a swipe on Imrie which received only a yellow card in the recent cup meeting between these teams and enough time to re-ignite a few feuds. 4

Dodoo (for Waghorn 76). The centre forward was given a chance wide on the left for the last 15 minutes. 3

Forrester (for Miller 82). Little time for the Englishman to make an impact. 3
