KENNY MILLER was frustrated that Rangers failed to fire as they were easily beaten by Celtic on Sunday.
Pedro Caixinha suffered his first defeat as Light Blues boss as goals from Callum McGregor and Scott Sinclair kept alive the Hoops’ Treble dreams.
Rangers went into the Old Firm clash having turned in a positive performance at Parkhead last month and with wins over Aberdeen and Partick Thistle to their credit.
But it was a poor performance from Caixinha’s side as they struggled from the off and allowed Celtic to dominate proceedings at the National Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers will take his side to Ibrox this weekend for the final derby clash of the campaign and Miller knows the Gers must improve on home soil.
He told RangersTV: “Extremely disappointed. I think the first half in particular, we never turned up.
“We allowed them too much time, too much of the ball to dictate play and pretty much do whatever they wanted in the first half.
“Half-time couldn’t come quick enough. We got in at 1-0, and only 1-0 which was probably the only positive of the first half.
“We changed a couple of bits and bobs at half-time and I felt that we started OK. We have got a free-kick and a bit of a stramash in their box and they break away and get a penalty five minutes into the second half.
“Really disappointed to lose a goal so early in the second half when we hoped to come out and give a better showing.
“We had chances, and going into next week’s game we have got to take the fact that we never played particularly well and still had three or four really good chances in the second half.
“One of them could have got us back into the game and we could have thrown everything at it in the last four or five minutes.
“It was a disappointing result losing a semi-final to your rivals and missing out on the cup final. It is another year gone.”
