Wes Foderingham: Sent the wrong way by Sinclair from the spot and it soon got worse for the keeper. Continually exposed by a shoddy defensive line in front of him but made a couple of saves. 5

James Tavernier: If he offers nothing going forward then he offers nothing to the team. Defensively poor once again and couldn’t contain Sinclair as Celtic cruised it. 4

Clint Hill: Back in the side at the expense of David Bates. It was the right call from Caixinha but this was a poor showing from one of the Gers’ most consistent performers this term. 4

Danny Wilson: Has improved his game in recent weeks but this was a day to forget for the defender as Celtic created chance after chance. Will be disappointed with his display. 4

Myles Beerman: A tough day at the office for the 18-year-old. A needless and rash challenge on Roberts gave Sinclair the chance to open the scoring. Toiled defensively and couldn’t get forward. 3

Emerson Hyndman: Once again found the going tough against Celtic and could have been replaced sooner. Lost the ball in the build-up to the second goal. Outfought and outplayed in midfield. 3

Josh Windass: One of three changes Caixinha made but didn’t make the most of his chance to impress. Came close with a shot from distance early on but offered nothing apart from that. 3

Jason Holt: Sat slightly deeper than Hyndman and Windass in the middle of the park but Celtic controlled proceedings yet again. Can’t fault his effort but wasn’t up to it. 4

Martyn Waghorn: Has yet to score against Celtic and had few chances to do so here. Should have hit the target with a header in the second half. Posed almost no threat to Celtic. 4

Joe Dodoo: Handed a start as he replaced Garner in the Gers attack. Didn’t make the most of his start, though. Barely involved and didn’t have a sight of goal. 3

Kenny Miller: Couldn’t celebrate his new Ibrox deal by leading the Light Blues to a derby win. Put in a shift, had a couple of shots and took his goal well. 6

Substitutes:

Andy Halliday (for Dodoo 45) Caixinha’s first roll of the dice at the break as he looked for a way back into the game. On to bolster the midfield but couldn’t prevent Celtic continuing to dominate. 3

Joe Garner (for Hyndman 56) Was ineffectual at Hampden last weekend and didn’t do much better at Ibrox. Got an assist for Miller. 3
