RANGERS have made their move to sign Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean.
The 25-year-old has become an integral part of the Dons side following his switch from St Mirren but is now entering the final twelve months of his contract at Pittoodrie.
Rangers have already signed Ryan Jack from Aberdeen this summer and SportTimes understands they have now stepped up their interest in McLean by tabling a bid.
It is likely to take a seven figure fee for the Dons board to consider any approach for one of their key players.
Pedro Caixinha has made eight signings so far this summer as he bolsters his squad for Rangers' return to the Europa League and the new Premiership campaign.
And the Light Blues now hope to do a deal to bring McLean to Glasgow as the rebuilding job continues at Ibrox.
