RYAN JACK hopes the experience of midfield partner Graham Dorrans can help him go from strength to strength this season.

The summer signings have formed an impressive pairing in the last couple of weeks after boss Pedro Caixinha switched to a 4-4-2 formation for the friendly with Marseille.

Jack and Dorrans started together in the wins over Watford and Sheffield Wednesday before the 30-year-old scored both goals against Motherwell at the weekend.

And former Aberdeen captain Jack is pleased to have hit it off with his new central compatriot as he looks to continue his solid start to life in Light Blue.

He said: “I am really enjoying it. Even in training, I am enjoying playing alongside Graham.

“Obviously he has had a great career so far and he has played for country and had great experiences.

“For the likes of myself, it is great. He has got the experience that he can pass on and hopefully he can help improve my game as well by playing alongside him.”
