KARL ROBINSON reckons there is plenty more to come from Joe Dodoo after he marked his Charlton debut with a goal on Saturday.

The striker completed a deadline day switch from Rangers as he agreed a loan deal at The Valley for the first half of the League One campaign.

Dodoo hit the decisive fourth goal for Charlton as they edged out Oldham Athletic and boss Robinson was pleased to see his summer recruit get off and running.

He said: “He went up there as a bit of a teen sensation and it didn’t really materialise. We know that Joe is a top player.

“He’s still miles off, you can see he doesn’t get in shape yet, he plays off the cuff but hopefully he can grow with this team.

“We’re young, we’re energetic and hopefully he’s another one of them. To get a goal on your debut is great for him.”
