PEDRO CAIXINHA has every right to pick his squad and pick his team as he sees fit and if Kenny Miller isn’t part of that, for whatever reason, then that is down to the manager.

But I would have no issue if Pedro decides that he wants to bring Kenny back into the team for the game with St Johnstone tonight.

He didn’t feature against Hamilton last time out as we know and he was sent to play with the Under-20s down at Brentford.

But Pedro has said again this week that there is no issue there. If that is the case, then hopefully we can all move on.

The one thing you get from Kenny is 100 per cent effort and fight and that is what Rangers need out of every player right now.

I think there is definitely room for Kenny Miller in this team and he should be in the squad at McDiarmid Park. I would like to see him start.

He is a very vocal presence on the park and he will get other players playing. Rangers need leadership and he is someone that leads by example.

He will admit himself that he hasn’t had a great start to the season but he can get other players playing around him.

The manager can only do so much from the touchline so you need a leader out on the park to get people going.

There is no doubt that Kenny will do that so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see him back in action tonight.

Rangers need everyone pulling in the right direction and they need to get the three points against St Johnstone.
