FRASERBURGH are to hold an investigation over whether Rangers fans gained access to Wednesday’s Scottish Cup tie at Bellslea Park with counterfeit tickets.
The stadium was forced to close its gates when it reached maximum capacity as fans continued to queue outside.
Supporters with tickets to the game were denied entry and the Highland League outfit said on social media that it believed fake tickets had been used by travelling Gers fans.
The capacity of the stadium is now full and we believe this is due to a number of counterfeit tickets in the away end. No further persons can be admitted. The club will hold an investigation and further details will be advised.

Rangers went on to win the game 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Josh Windass and Graeme Murty's side will now face Ayr United in the fifth round.
