JASON CUMMINGS will get a bit of stick from the Hibernian punters on Saturday, of course he will. But there will be far more Rangers fans cheering him on at Ibrox as he faces his former club for the first time.

He has had his time at Easter Road and he was a hero to the supporters there but he has moved on and he will want to do his best for Rangers, and score, this weekend, there is no doubt about that.

He has been delighted with the reception he has received from the Rangers fans since he signed and I am sure he would love to get his first goal at Ibrox against Hibs.

It is a big game for Jason, but it is a really important one for Graeme Murty and all of his players as we look to build on the wins over Aberdeen, Ross County and Fraserburgh.

Hibs are a decent side that can cause any teams problems and Neil Lennon added another attacking threat in Scott Allan to his squad on deadline day.

He hasn’t had the best of times in recent years but it was his good play at Hibs that got him into the spotlight again. Maybe that is the club he is destined to play for.

There is no way that Hibs will come and sit back tomorrow afternoon so this has the makings of a really good, open and entertaining game.

Rangers’ home record isn’t great this season and Hibs have beaten us at Ibrox already this term. We don’t want a repeat of that second time around.

I am sure Neil will come and want his side to have a go and that could suit Rangers perfectly when you look at the attacking options that we have in the squad now.
