LEE Wallace still has a year to run on his Rangers contract but I don’t think we will be seeing him play for the club again after he appealed his fine.

I don’t know the full situation about what happened at Hampden and what has happened since but I thought it was a little bit strange that he appealed it.

He obviously wants to prove his innocence, if you like, but the fact that he has appealed it would indicate that he is expecting to leave Rangers this summer.

He feels it is the right thing to do and I know Kenny Miller has appealed his punishment as well. They had to stick together for their case because if one of them had done it and the other doesn’t then it doesn’t look too good.

Kenny is away from the club after his contract expired and I don’t think Lee will be back again now. It is looking that way.

That will be a big miss for Rangers and it will be disappointing for Lee because I know how much he enjoyed playing with Rangers and what it meant for him to be club captain.

But, everything comes to an end as they say and it will be interesting to see if he does leave where his next club will be.
