ALEX MCLEISH has questioned the fitness levels of the Rangers players during their Old Firm defeat to Celtic on Saturday.
The Light Blues fell eight points adrift of Brendan Rodgers’ side in the Premiership standings thanks to second half goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths.
It was another blow to boss Pedro Caixinha after a mixed start to the campaign that has also seen the Gers drop points to Hibernian, Hearts and Partick Thistle.
And Treble-winning gaffer McLeish told BBC Scotland: "When the second goal went in, I felt that Rangers didn't have the legs of Celtic.
"Okay, it hit the mentality big time in the fact that they lost a goal but I felt that there was a wee lack of stamina in trying to match Celtic after that because Celtic seemed to get much more space after the goal.
"When you lose a goal, mentality is one thing but when they don't look fit enough that's another."
