CELTIC have taken a swipe at Rangers following the suspension of veteran striker and former Hoops man Kenny Miller

The 38-year-old was yesterday disciplined by the Ibrox club along with teammate Lee Wallace for his involvement in an angry exchange with manager Graeme Murty in the wake of Sundays 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to the Bhoys.

And the champions couldn't help but make a reference to Miller's Parkhead past when they took to Twitter on Wednesday.

The club wrote: "Broony was head-over-heels on Sunday! He's not the only one to have enjoyed a Celtic goal over the years..."

Four pictures were attached to the post, the final of which was of Miller celebrating scoring against the Gers during his one season in green and white.

The striker spent the 2006/07 campaign at Parkhead, becoming only the third player since World War II to represent both of the Old Firm sides.

He netted his first goal for the Hoops against his former employers at Celtic Park in September 2006.
