Glasgow Warriors will tomorrow play host to a special visitor - the Rugby World Cup trophy.
The glittering Webb Ellis Cup will be on display at Scotstoun Stadium on Monday morning as part of a whistle stop tour of Britain and Ireland.
The trophy, one of the most famous in world sport, was first contested at the inaugural Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and Australia in 1987.
And it will be on view alongside the GUINNESS PRO12 trophy which the Warriors won so dramatically earlier this month.
A Warriors spokesman said: "We are delighted that the Webb Ellis Cup will be on display at Scotstoun. It is an iconic trophy and one which is rarely seen in Scotland in this fashion.
"Warriors supporters will get the opportunity to pose with the trophy and in the afternoon it will be at Ayr Rugby Club."
The event, open to the general public, will run from 10am-12 noon with a friendly match between Glasgow Academy Under 18's and West of Scotland Under 18's taking place on the 3G back pitches to commemorate both club's 150th anniversaries.
There will be also a Kids Zone, with inflatables and Glasgow Warriors players will also be on hand to sign autographs.
