SCOTLAND will face Georgia in their third and final Autumn Test at Rugby Park in Kilmarnock, Scottish Rugby have confirmed.

The national team beat Tsonga 37-12 at the Premiership club's ground in 2014, a game that attracted more than 16,000 fans.

It was also the first international involving a tier-one nation to be played on an artificial pitch, and the stadium will host top-level rugby again when the Scots return on November 26.

The Georgia clash will be the third test in the November series after games against Australia and Argentina at Murrayfield.

Scotland prop Gordon Reid was delighted with the news that Vern Cotter's side will again have the chance to perform in his native Ayrshire.

"Rugby Park is a fantastic sporting venue," he said.

"Having played there both for Scotland and Glasgow Warriors, I know there's always a great buzz and atmosphere around the ground on game day.

"Personally, I really enjoy playing on the artificial surfaces which is another bonus of playing at Rugby Park. It makes for a quick game and the skill level is usually higher, so it should prove an exciting game for the fans.

"It's a great opportunity for fans in the west of Scotland to experience international rugby close to home, so we'll be hoping for another big crowd to really get behind the team in our final game of the Test series."
