SCOTLAND centre Duncan Taylor has been officially ruled out of Saturday's Calcutta Cup clash with England due to injury.
The Saracens centre is yet to feature for Vern Cotter's side during the 2017 campaign and a problem with his hamstring will ensure he plays no part at Twickenham.
A Scottish Rugby statement read: "Scotland and Saracens centre Duncan Taylor will remain in the care of his club’s medical team for further assessment after he sustained a hamstring injury against Newcastle Falcons in the English Premiership on Sunday."
The winner of this weekend's clash will secure the Triple Crown, while Scotland are also hoping to keep their title hopes alive by recording what would be a first win since 1983 at the English home of rugby.
