GLASGOW WARRIORS will be up against a Toulouse side out to make a point this Saturday.

The four-time European champions battled to a 19-11 victory over the Warriors at Stade Ernest Wallon on Sunday to take a grip on Pool Four in the European Rugby Champions Cup.

It??s the first defeat for Warriors in the competition following wins over Bath and Montpellier, and they face a tough task to make it three wins from four when Toulouse come to Scotstoun.

Their opponents have notoriously become one-leg wonders in recent years. Connacht caught them napping at home last season to snatch a 16-14 victory. The Ospreys claimed a home victory after being beaten away a year earlier and the French side failed to back-up their away defeat of Harlequins in 2011.

And flanker Yannick Nyanga says he and his team-mates are determined to build on the victory over Gregor Townsend??s men with another triumph in Glasgow to put an end to that worrying stat.

He said: "It was a beautiful evening for us. It was hard physically for both teams. We saw a high level, the hits were hard, it was fast and as soon as we released the pressure valve, it felt that they could come back.

"Unfortunately, the replay next week and the last two years we have become accustomed to winning the first and losing the second or vice versa.

??We will try to prove that is a little less stupid it looks in showing that we have learned the lesson and not claiming victory too soon. We'll have to be prepared to make a very good match because the confrontation will be hard."

The French international added: "It is only at half time and it annoys me too much because if next week we take a loss we will look a bit silly.

??We will try to say too much and not too be satisfied with what we did today to stay focused on that leg."

Meanwhile, Warriors ace Rob Harley is hoping home advantage will pay off for Townsend??s troops as they attempt to maintain their strong push for qualification to the knockout stages.

He said: "When you look at the energy Toulouse played with, they were feeding off the crowd and that can help get you those 50/50 calls.

"When you've got the crowd behind you, you get little boosts so hopefully we can pack the place out at Scotstoun.

"We'll go back and watch the game to see how we can improve and see what we're going to do differently next week.

"We've come over here believing we could get the win but credit to Toulouse, they are a great side and they played well today. It puts pressure on us for next week and it's crucial to our campaign to defend Scotstoun as our home."
