Glasgow Warriors' Irish centre James Downey has joined Wasps on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 33-year-old has made seven appearances since joining on a two-year deal from Munster in June.
But Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend hopes to see him get some more regular action with the Aviva Premiership side.
Townsend said: "This is a good opportunity for James to hopefully get some more game time between now and the end of the season and we wish him well."
Downey added: "Wasps have some big games coming up in the Aviva Premiership and European Rugby Champions Cup and my aim is to go down there and challenge for a place in the team."
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Canadian international Connor Braid has rejoined Warriors on a short-term loan from London Scottish, as part of the deal which saw him join the Richmond club in December.
Townsend added: "It's great to see Connor back with us, he's trained really well today and he's available for selection this weekend."
Braid said: "I've been playing regularly for London Scottish and I'm happy with my form. It's good to be back in Glasgow and in the mix for this weekend's game."
