GLASGOW head coach Gregor Townsend believes a win over Bath tomorrow will be enough to keep his side's European dream alive.

Warriors never reached the last eight of the old Heineken Cup, but still have a chance of making the quarter-finals of its successor, the European Rugby Champions Cup, with a success at the Recreation Ground.

The Scots are third in Pool 4 going into the final group-stage game, a point behind the English big guns and two adrift of leaders Toulouse.

The five group winners progress, along with the three best runners-up.

Pools 2, 3 and 5 will be decided today, meaning Glasgow will know by the time they kick off if a win against Bath will be enough or if they need fourth-placed Montpellier to do them a favour against their French compatriots.

Townsend said: "This is a massive game for the club and we're really looking forward to the challenge of playing one of the form teams in Europe.

"The qualification picture will be a lot clearer come tomorrow lunchtime, but we know that a win could be enough for us to qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament for the first time - and that is something which really excites everyone at the club.

"It's great to still be in contention to qualify going into the final round of games and we'll probably have to produce our best performance of the season to win tomorrow."

Townsend's team selection sees Sean Maitland - who is moving to London Irish this summer - replace Peter Murchie at full-back, while Tommy Seymour and DTH van der Merwe continue on either wing, with the latter having scored a hat-trick against Montpellier last weekend.

Mark Bennett comes in at outside centre, having returned last weekend from a nine-week injury lay-off, with Alex Dunbar moving to inside centre.

Finn Russell continues at stand-off, while Henry Pyrgos replaces Niko Matawalu at scrum-half.

In the pack, Gordon Reid and Mike Cusack come in for Ryan Grant and Jon Welsh at loose-head and tight-head respectively, with Pat MacArthur continuing at hooker.

Skipper Al Kellock comes into the second-row in place of the injured Tim Swinson and will partner Jonny Gray in the engine room.

Leone Nakarawa continues on the blind-side, while Fraser Brown comes in for Ryan Wilson at openside and Richie Vernon replaces the injured Josh Strauss at Number 8.
