GREGOR TOWNSEND says he is 'excited' by latest signing Kieran Low.

The 24-year-old has agreed a deal to join Glasgow Warriors from London Irish in the summer on a two-year deal.

Already capped six times for Scotland, the lock completes a hat-trick of new recruits for next term's campaign by joining Simone Favaro and Grayson Hart.

Head coach Townsend said: "Kieran Low is another exciting addition to our squad for next season. He has come through the academy system at London Irish and has worked hard to play at the highest level of the game.

"He is a physical, athletic second row who can also play in the back row, so he'll provide more competition and give us more options in the back five for next season."
