Scotland will meet a much-changed South African side in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer will hand debut caps to fly-half Handre Pollard - the IRB Junior World Player of the Year - and lock Lood de Jager.

Another four uncapped players will be on the bench.

In all, there are six changes from the team which was lucky to beat Wales 31-30 last weekend.

With another seven fresh faces on the bench compared to last week, only 10 of the matchday 23 survive from one outing to the next.

Both sides have been hit by the refusal of clubs in England and France to release players. But the Scots are not buying into the idea that this is a weak Springbok side.

Lock Tim Swinson said: "You have the guys who are usually there and then add the guys who come in and who want to prove themselves and are just as hungry.

"There are a lot of good players in South Africa. The Springboks are a physical side and if you don't match that, it will be a tough day at the office for you."
