Glasgow coach Sean Lineen will be submitting a DVD of last night’s 20-14 defeat by European champions Leinster to the Magners League rugby board.
The New Zealander was furious after his under-strength side came close to shocking the Heineken Cup winners at the Royal Dublin Showgrounds, only to be undone by a string of controversial decisions.
Lineen said: “It is ridiculous we don’t have neutral touch judges. We were penalised for everything and Leinster got away with the lot. As a result we will be submitting a DVD to the Magners League asking for the rules to be changed.”
Warriors’ bonus point came thanks to tries from Hefin O’Hare and Colin Gregor and crucially means Glasgow stay on course for the play-offs in third place.
Lineen said: “It was a massive effort, but we had them out on their feet and failed to kill Leinster off.”
