CLYDE boss Jim Duffy is confident Callum Fordyce can make an immediate impact for the Bully Wee after clinching a loan deal for the young defender.
Fordyce has agreed a switch to the Irn-Bru Third Division side from Livingston and will stay with the Cumbernauld club until April 26.
The 20-year-old made his debut in the 1-0 win over Annan on Saturday and Duffy is an admirer of the former Hibernian youth prospect.
The Clyde boss said: "Livingston rate him highly and they want him back before the end of the season but I felt he could add to the team.
"Callum may not be the tallest but he is quick, has a physical presence and is a good communicator which is vital.
I think he showed on Saturday what he brings to the team and he will be a good addition to the squad."
