Victory for the Black and Whites at Broadwood would take them top of the Irn-Bru Third Division.
Duffy said: "We will certainly give it our best shot and hopefully we can improve on one or two aspects from the previous games.
"Elgin have kept just about all of their squad and they have added one or two as well.
"They have got a bit of consistency and, having been in the play-offs last year, you would expect them to be there or thereabouts this season.
"It is not surprising how well they have done.
"They have been building for a couple of years under Ross Jack, and you can see the development in the team now, there is no question of that.
"They got a good result last week so they will be buoyant coming down here.
"It is a good pitch and that will suit them because they are a good football side. It will be a difficult match for us, but we will give it our best shot."
