ALLAN MOORE hopes Belgian star Kabba-Modou Cham is the missing piece of his Morton strike force after agreeing a deal for the giant forward.

Cham netted a double in the 3-1 behind-closed-doors victory over SPFL Premiership side Motherwell last weekend and has signed on the dotted line at Cappielow.

The capture of the 20-year-old sees Moore bolster his Ton squad once again this summer as he gears up for a SPFL Championship promo-tion bid next season.

Moves for Slovakian duo Tomas Peciar and Michal Habai are also nearing completion and Moore said: "We are not looking for many more now to be honest.

"We have got a couple of foreign boys in and you don't know how they are going to settle. It is always a gamble.

"The Slovakian boys are away home to get things in order and we hope to have them back next Tuesday and we can try and get them integrated into the team.

"We have thought a bit out of the box this year and hopefully the fans enjoy coming to watch us next season.

"We are happy with the boys we have brought over, they have shown up well in the games.

"We have taken a gamble on Cham, we would like to get him involved in Saturday's game against St Johnstone.

"We watched him for 45 minutes against Motherwell and he scored two goals and impressed us.

"He is a big, strong centre-forward and there are not many of them in Scotland just now.

"Andy Barrowman was the only one that was available but Cham is at the right age, he is hungry to improve.

"Barrowman is a really good striker but we thought we would be better going with the younger boy."
