The Ton sit proudly joint top of the table alongside Dunfermline on 36 points, two clear of Partick Thistle who have two games in hand.

And the Cappielow boss is determined to steer his men back to winning ways after a shock defeat at home by Dumbarton and a draw at Cowdenbeath.

Moore is hopeful his Morton stalwarts Martin Hardie and Mark McLaughlin will shake off niggling injuries to add the bite to his side that he believes will help overcome Steven Pressley's youthful side.

"We are hopeful that both Martin and Marko will make it back for the trip to Falkirk," said the Ton boss.

"They are two very important players for us and it would make a huge difference to us if they are back.

"We lost to Falkirk at our place in our first meeting with them and we were without both of them for that one as well, and it hurt us.

"A lot has been made of Steven Pressley's decision to go with youth and that is his choice.

"But here at Morton we looked at the areas we were not performing last season and the truth was that from both our centre-backs and our midfield we were just not getting enough goals.

"Over the years big Martin Hardie has had a tremendous record of scoring goals from the middle of the park.

"Look at the three he has scored in the last five games for us and he was hitting form at exactly the right time until he picked up a thigh niggle."

Moore added: "Marko is also a goal threat and especially at our set pieces.

"And even if he does not score off them the way he attacks the ball opens up space for others. So we will give both boys every chance of making it for the game."

"However, Falkirk have a big pitch and that will suit us. If we can get the quality of delivery in the box we need we will be okay."
