QUEEN'S Park strolled to their tenth consecutive win over Clyde, dominating the match throughout with a performance of skill, pace and directness to which the bottom club had no answer.
At the same time Gardner Speirs side consolidated their second position behind Rangers in the Third Division.
Queen's opened the scoring in 15 minutes when a cross from Andrew Robertson was volleyed home by Aidan Connolly.
Queen's doubled their lead in 53 minutes when a superb cross from the right by Sean Burns found Lawrence Shankland, who controlled brilliantly before curling a 15-yard shot beyond Jamie Barclay.
The Spiders wrapped up the points in style six minutes from time when the hugely impressive Shankland darted in from the right and drilled the ball low into the far corner of the net from 15-yards.
Substitute Michael Keenan should have added a fourth deep into stoppage time, but headed wide.
Meanwhile, Forfar reclaimed a share of fourth spot in the second division with a 4-2 win over Albion Rovers at Station Park.
The Loons scorers were Danny Denholm, Martyn Fotheringham, Dale Hilson and Gavin Malin. While Rovers' Pat Walker and Marvin Andrews scored.
