BILLY REID admits Hamilton got what they deserved as Raith Rovers inflicted a fourth league defeat in five games on his side with a 1-0 win at New Douglas Park.
Allan Walker's first-half strike was enough to guarantee Grant Murray's side victory as Accies miserable start to the season continues, with the Lanarkshire outfit remaining ninth in the Irn- Bru First Division.
Reid said: "We didn't compete enough, especially in the first half.
"I thought we were totally powderpuff, I thought we were inept.
"Raith Rovers came here with their gameplan and the big boy Brian Graham caused us numerous problems; I thought he gave Jonathan Page and Martin Canning a torrid first half.
"Jonathan has come in and is finding his feet at the club, Martin is one of the most experienced players and the two of them, I am not just going to blame one, we were miles off it early doors.
"When they are playing that way it gives them a bit of impetus to get in our half of the park."
