Reid rails for rally

BILLY REID gave his Hamilton players a dressing room dressing-down before they upped their game to claim a point against Livingston.

A last-minute effort from Stevie May cancelled out Iain Russell's opener for the Lions but Reid was far from happy with the first-half performance of his sloppy stars.

He said: "Within 10 seconds we could have gone ahead, it was a great opportunity.

"Stevie May rolled a great ball into Ali Crawford on his weaker side and he should do a bit better but his touch wasn't good enough.

"From there, we descended into a team that looked void of confidence.

"There were a lot of people going into their shell and we were second best all over the park.

"I was delighted to go in at half-time at 0-0 because they were the better side and there were a few harsh words said to players."

He added: "I don't know where they think they are as players but that was certainly nowhere near where they should be.

"I will take the blame, I am the manager at the end of the day but I can't go out and play for them."
