THE Scottish Football League could announce a venue for this season's Ramsdens Cup Final by the end of the week.
Partick Thistle and Queen of the South booked their place in the showpiece event last Sunday, beating Cowdenbeath and Arbroath respectively.
The game will be played on Sunday, April 7, 2013, but no venue has yet been decided. Where to stage the fixture will be on the agenda when the SFL hold a Board meeting on Thursday morning as the governing body attempt to find a suitable ground to cater for both Jags and Doonhamers supporters.
While an SFL stadium is preferred, an SPL arena could be utilised, with McDiarmid Park having hosted the final two years ago.
