HEARTS head coach Robbie Neilson has made his first capture of the summer after luring Blazej Augustyn to Tynecastle.
The Polish defender will sign on at Tynecastle, subject to international clearance, after leaving Gornik Zabrze in his homeland.
The 27-year-old centre-half – who has previous stints at Bolton, Legia Warsaw and Italian outfits Vicenza and Catania – made 18 appearances for Gornik last season and scored two goals.
Hearts have lost Danny Wilson, James Keatings, Brad McKay, Scott Robinson, Adam Eckersley, Liam Gordon and Genero Zeefuik – who has returned to Groningen after his loan stint – since winning promotion back to the SPFL Premiership after running away with the Championship title.
