FORMER Glasgow City manager Eddie Wolecki-Black has been named as director of coaching at Airdrieonians.
The 50-year-old left his post at the SWPL champions during the summer following a glittering tenure that saw them lift eight consecutive titles.
The Uefa Pro Licence holder will now oversee coaches and players coming through at the Diamonds.
He said: “I am thrilled and delighted to be joining a club with such a rich history as Airdrieonians.
“My career in coaching has been challenging and varied and this post is hugely exciting.
“There is so much potential at this football club and I can’t wait to start tapping into that and begin producing home-bred players I know will excite the fans.”
