Ross County goalkeeper Scott Fox is looking to repeat history when his side face Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.

The holders have been paired with County in a repeat of the 2010 Scottish Cup semi-finals, when the then First Division side shocked Neil Lennon's team.

Hibernian will face St Johnstone in the last four, which takes place in the final weekend of January.

Fox said: "There are a few boys left from that game and a few pictures around the stadium. When you have your lunch you can see them but hopefully we can put a few photos up of ourselves and rewrite the history books.

"It's the one people would maybe want to avoid but we've been given it so it's our job to beat them now. You have to beat the best teams to win a cup."

St Johnstone left-back Brian Easton has his sights set on lifting the trophy at Hampden after helping the Perth side to William Hill Scottish Cup glory at Parkhead in 2014.

Easton was brought up in the shadow of Hampden and hopes to triumph inside the famous stadium after playing outside it as a boy.

"I made my debut there in front of 600 people for Hamilton against Queen's Park in the cup and we ended up getting beat," he said.

"I would definitely like to come back under different circumstances in front of more people.

"I'm pretty close by and I grew up round about here. We used to play outside when we were young kids so it's definitely a stadium I would like to lift a trophy at."

Easton is not concerned where they face Hibs, though, after playing previous semi-finals at Tynecastle and Ibrox, both against Aberdeen.

"Obviously Hampden is such an iconic stadium, it's somewhere you want to play," he said.

"But I remember the semi-final at Tynecastle against Aberdeen, the atmosphere was different class. It was great at Ibrox again. But I don't mind where it is, it's a semi-final and that's what I'm looking forward to."

Easton added: "The one thing you want to do is avoid Celtic, if you asked Hibs or Ross County they would say the same but we're under no illusions about how tough it's going to be.

"It's obviously a wee bit away but if it was coming up now we would be very confident against anybody. But I'm sure Hibs are the same, they are in great form and have a good squad."

Hibs forward James Keatings is fully focused on reaching the final despite their main focus being challenging Rangers for the Ladbrokes Championship.

"We're delighted to be in the semi-finals and we would have taken whoever," Keatings said.

"We were in it from the start to win it and we have got so close now that we want to go all the way."
