LEAGUE 1 leaders Ayr will be without the injured Brian Gilmour (hamstring) and Craig Moore (groin) when they host Albion Rovers.
The visitors are the only team to have beaten Ayr this season and boss Ian McCall wants to use the game as a yardstick for Ayr's success.
He said: "They beat us 3-0 on the opening day of the season and we have no complaints about the result at all. I reckon that if the league stopped now their boss, Darren Young, would be the Manager of the Year as they have been terrific.
"However we have improved since that first day and this game will tell us just how much we have improved."
Albion return to action after their game with Cowdenbeath was postponed twice in the past week with the banned John Gemmell out.
Fit-again Callum McRobbie is added to the squad with boss Darren Young expecting a different game than their previous outing against Ayr.
He said: "Our 3-0 win over Ayr was a great way for us to start our season. We have improved since then however I know that Ian McCall's side have also improved and will have a different looking line-up in this game.
"I am sure that Ayr will be out to make up for that defeat however if we stick to what we are good at then we have a chance of picking something up."
