Former Rangers starlet Charlie Telfer has joined Livingston from parent club Dundee United on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Telfer has struggled for game time under United boss Mixu Paatelainen, and indeed has made just 21 starts since arriving at Tannadice in the summer of 2014 with 12 appearances from the bench.
The last of those appearances as a substitute against Partick Thistle in December ended in embarrassment for the 20-year-old as he was later substituted off after replacing Florent Sinama-Pongolle early in the match.
The SPFL compensation tribunal ruled that United must pay £204,000 to Rangers for Telfer's services after he joined them under freedom of contract, a decision which angered Tangerine's chairman Stephen Thompson.
He has now been sent to Livingston in order to benefit from first-team football despite his side's dire current predicament in the Premiership.
