St Johnstone have moved to replace Michael O'Halloran by re-signing Danny Swanson.
Swanson has joined on an 18-month contract after leaving Hearts on transfer deadline day.
The 29-year-old played for Saints on loan from Coventry during the second half of last season with a spectacular winner at Celtic Park the highlight of his time.
Swanson chose Tynecastle ahead of Perth after leaving Coventry in August but he only made five starts for Hearts and decided to move on after failing to feature since the turn of the year.
The former Dundee United player provides manager Tommy Wright with an option in wide midfield after he lost O'Halloran to Rangers on Monday.
