DUNDEE UNITED goalkeeper Cammy Bell has been named Championship player of the month after a run of performances that included an incredible hat-trick of penalty saves against Dunfermline.
The former Rangers stopper hit national headlines after stopping three spot kicks in the first half of the Tangerines' 3-1 league win over the Pars at the start of September.
He stopped efforts from Gavin Reilly, Nicky Clark and Paul McMullan and said after the full-time whistle that he 'can't stop smiling.'

The former Scotland international helped his team to two wins in three Championship games during September before holding Hibernian to a draw at Easter Road on the eve of the international break.
