ANDY CONSIDINE has committed his future to Aberdeen after signing a new deal with the Dons until 2019.

The 29-year-old is a product of the Pittodrie outfit's youth system and has made 376 appearances for the club.

Considine, who has been key member of Derek McInnes' defence this season, penned a two-year renewal on Tuesday.

When asked if it was a difficult decision to extend his deal, the defender told RedTV: "Not at all, I'm absolutely delighted to have signed again.

"This team is going higher and higher, I think the fact the manager's managed to re-sign a lot of our key players already just shows the intent the manager has."

He has scored two goals in 33 appearances for the Dons in 2016/17 and sits at number 11 in Aberdeen's all-time appearance list.
