RAITH ROVERS have appointed Kevin McBride as assistant manager to work alongside new boss John Hughes.
The former Motherwell, Falkirk, Hibernian and Dundee midfielder has signed a deal until the end of the season at Stark's Park to help Hughes in his attempt to arrest their slump.
McBride played under 'Yogi' during spells with the Bairns and Hibs and also had a spell as a player with Rovers in 2011.
The 35-year-old was in charge of Airdrie on an interim basis until October, when new Director of Football Gordon Dalziel replaced him with Mark Wilson.
Rovers face league leaders Hibernian tomorrow and will be looking to record their first Championship win since October.
