MORTON boss Jim Duffy has been handed a three-match ban for misconduct by the Scottish FA.

Duffy and his Hibernian counterpart Neil Lennon had to be separated at the end of last month's Championship draw at Easter Road, resulting in SFA charges for both.

Following a disciplinary tribunal, the 'Ton manager will miss league clashes with Ayr United and Dunfermline, while the third game has been suspended until the end of the year.

A late tackle by Morton's Kudus Oyenuga sparked the touchline row, with the two managers both being sent to the stand for their reactions.

Both bosses face charges from the Scottish FA, but Lennon's was postponed until after this Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen

In addition, the charge against Morton assistant manager Craig McPherson was withdrawn and the club itself was fined £750 for admitting a charge of misconduct.
