KILMARNOCK kid Iain Wilson has committed his future to the club and penned a new two-year deal at Rugby Park.

The midfielder made his Premiership debut against Aberdeen in December and went on to make 20 appearances in the top flight.

Wilson was also a part of the Scotland Under-20 side that finished third in the Toulon Tournament in France this summer.

And Killie boss Lee McCulloch is delighted to have the 18-year-old tied down as he continues his preparations for his first full campaign at the helm.

He said: "Iain has done tremendously well since being involved in the first team last season.

“He has taken in every piece of advice from myself and Peter, but also from his older teammates and has worked extremely hard in training. He also had a very successful Toulon Tournament with the Scotland U20s, where he played superb".
