Motherwell striker leaves Fir Park as contract is terminated a year early
MOTHERWELL have terminated the contract of striker Jacob Blyth by mutual consent.
The 24-year-old arrived at Fir Park on a two-year deal last summer, but has ended his contract early after failing to score for the club.
The former Leiceister City, Burton Albion and Northampton Town front man made just nine appearances for the Steelmen last season but was hampered by injury problems.
'Well suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Rangers in thir opening league fixture against Rangers on Sunday.
Robinson's squad travel north this week to face Ross County in the Betfred Cup last 16, before a trip to St Johnstone on Premiership duty on Saturday.
