CLYDE midfielder Ally Love has been banned for five games after being accused of making racist remarks.
The 26-year-old was charged by the Scottish FA in the wake of a League Two game against Annan Athletic on 2 January.
Love, who was making his debut for The Bully Wee, directed comments at Annan's Rabin Omar which were reported to referee Scott Millar.
He was charged with excessive misconduct on Thursday by compliance officer Tony McGlennan, after both clubs submitted statements to the governing body.
The independent panel heard 11 hours of evidence on the first day of the hearing, which then required further time for consideration.
Love's ban will take immediate effect and see him miss upcoming games against Cowdenbeath twice, Stirling Albion, Peterhead and Elgin City.
