SCOTLAND have dropped two places to 34th in the latest FIFA Ranking following the March friendlies.
Alex McLeish's second spell in charge of the national team began with a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Costa Rica last month.
However, the Scots bounced back with a 1-0 victory away to Hungary four days later courtesy of a winner from Matt Phillips.
The results have seen the Tartan Army fall to number 34 in the world, with Ukraine and Romania leapfrogging McLeish's side.
Scotland are now directly behind Paraguay and Romania and three places off the Republic of Ireland.
Serbia, Iran and Turkey are breathing down the Scots' necks.
Elsewhere in the ranking, Germany retained top spot with Brazil in second and Belgium rising two places to take third.
Portugal and Argentina complete the top five, while England rose by three to 13th, Wales fell one spot to 21st and Northern Ireland dropped down to 27th from 24th.
