HAMILTON boss Alex Neil has had to put his transfer plans on hold due to the Commonwealth Games - because he can't find a spare hotel room for any of his targets to stay in.
The Accies gaffer has added five players to his squad so far this summer but is still keen to delve into the transfer market again before the window shuts.
Neil said: "If one or two more came up that really interested us then there would be money to do something. There are one or two positions where I'd like to strengthen our squad further.
"However it has been difficult because of the Commonwealth Games - every hotel within a 30-mile radius is booked out.
"We tried to get a young player over but we couldn't get him a room. Once the Games ends we'll look to get another one or two in."
