HAMILTON ACCIES continued preparations for their Premiership return with a 3-1 win over Dumbarton last night.
Alex Neil's side got off to a perfect start at New Douglas Park when Mickael Antoine-Curier converted from the spot after just 17 minutes but former Accies kid Jordan Kirkpatrick put the Sons level before the break.
Antoine-Curier doubled his tally on the hour mark, after Dougie Imrie's shot was parried, and the striker completed his hat-trick later when he converted Imrie's cross.
New St Mirren boss Tommy Craig saw his side beat League Two promotion hopefuls Albion Rovers in a friendly at Cliftonhill.
Craig handed debuts to Ellis Plummer, James Marwood and Ross Caldwell in Lanarkshire and it was the Buddies' latest summer signing who scored the only goal.
