IAN MURRAY says the lure of playing three of Scotland's top clubs next season could tempt players to snub the Premiership this summer.
The Dumbarton boss has already captured David van Zanten from St Mirren and former Partick Thistle defender Lee Mair as he builds a side to face Rangers, Hearts and Hibs in the Championship.
Murray said: "If it comes down to an extra £50 or £100 elsewhere, they might come to us because we are playing these big teams."
Murray's side continued their preparations for the new campaign with a 1-1 draw against Thistle on Saturday.
Bryan Prunty's header gave the Sons a second half lead before Ryan Stevenson's deflected effort earned Alan Archibald's side a draw.
Murray is pleased with their preparations as they get set to face Stranraer in the Petrofac Training Cup this weekend.
He said: "We are looking good and certainly further on from where we were at this stage last season."
