CLYDE keeper Jamie Barclay has signed a new contract with the SPFL League Two club.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Jim Duffy's side so far this season and was hailed by the Broadwood boss for his performance in the weekend win over Stirling Albion that took the Bully Wee up to second place in the table.
Barclay's new deal, which ties him to the Cumbernauld club until the summer of 2015, has been completed via Clyde's Young Player Investment Initiative.
And boss Duffy is pleased to see the keeper sign on the dotted line.
He said: "Jamie's improving all the time and, as a young goalkeeper, there's still lots he can learn.
"He's been outstanding recently, making some unbelievable saves at important moments.
"I'm delighted that he has signed a new deal and it's important that, as a club, we try and do that with young players."
